Fondation de France created @bee_nfluencer, the first bee influencer that wants to save her own species. The profile gained lots of organic followers immediately after it was created in 2019, and fueled their love with funny and educational posts for two years.
The mechanic is simple yet revolutionary. The more followers, the more brands gained interest in sponsored partnerships and ads with her. And all the money B. earned with her influencer life went to the BeeFund, created to help to save the bees.
We reinvented how to mobilize people and raise money for a cause: we built a community of followers and monetized it, using advertising interests of brands to support bees preservation.
